-
Advertisements must be for Vintage or military
radio or related items.
- Advertisements for publication in the newsletter must
include a contact telephone number as a minimum. Email and postal addresses
may be included if the advertiser so wishes.
- Advertisements submitted to the newsletter will also
be placed on the website if the advertiser requests this at the time of
placing the advertisement.
- Advertisements placed on the website will normally
include only an email address as a point of contact. If the advertiser does
not have an email address, he/she must specify what contact details they
wish to see included.
- Advertisements will not be placed on the website
until two days after the publication date of the newsletter in which they
have been placed (to allow for postal delays).
- Members who are traders must either (a) include a
signed declaration that the item wanted or for sale is for their own
personal station, or (b) disclose the fact that they are a trader in the
advertisement. (The accepted way of doing this is to include the letter (T)
at the end of the advertisement.)
- Advertisements from non-members may be accepted at
the discretion of the committee, but in all cases a full postal address and
telephone number of the advertiser must be supplied, even if not for
publication.
- Advertisements are accepted in good faith by VMARS,
but neither the society nor the committee can accept any responsibility for
their accuracy. The Committee reserves the right, in its absolute
discretion, to reject any advertisement that it regards as unsuitable.
-
Advertisements must be sent in
writing or by E-mail to the newsletter sub-editor. Advertisements submitted
by telephone will not be accepted.
